Great Investment

The touch screen is a vast improvement over my previous Lowrance. The 7” unit is a perfect size for my X3.
I have had Zero issues with the internal antenna. Once you spend a few minutes and scroll through the pages & remove functions for marine use it’s a easy unit to use.
3 things to take into consideration.
1- You need to purchase a map card to suite your needs. The internal map has limited information.
2- When installing into the extremely well built dash mount for the X3 you ONLY need to remove the 4 corner pieces/bezel unlike the previous models that required you to remove the whole faceplate.
3- Mount the Elite into the bracket, connect your power cable & the external antenna cable if you are using one.
Then position the unit so the rear facing cables just clear the vertical left & right parts of the dash and now mark the four mounting holes.
