On my last trip, I was running an iPad app with a Dual puck gps however after the first day - the unit died and would not charge/turn on.
I do not want to be stranded without a GPS so I switched to Lowrance which I feel is much more reliable.
Hoping to get this installed in my TRX with the HD7 live soon.

Was having interference issues with my Lowrance HDS 7 touch. Installed the Point-1 and I have zero reception issues now. Install was painless, i tied the power into the main power line to the Lowrance unit. Everything else tucked nicely underneath the dash.
