This is the best mic mounting solution--period! I have bought two more for other rigs that I decided install mobile radios in. Super simple to install and even my first one I bought sometime ago is still perfect. Quality part that will last and not fall apart nor the magnet hasn't weakened.

Great product. I thought it was kinda high priced when I ordered it for “just a magnet”. But it’s so much more than that. It still allows for the grounding feature if you use that. Very solid piece. Looks great and very strong magnet, even for the brick of a mic like on my kenwood radio
