The Pyrotect Sportmax DOT Helmet features mid air for additional clearance in the car. This comfortable helmet can be custom wired with PCI Exclusive Communication components. 

  • PCI Elite Wiring is a black 4 pin connector for Elite and Comlink X intercom systems.
  • PCI Trax wiring is a gray 5 pin connector for Trax stereo intercom systems.
  • PCI Elite Custom Wiring complete with microphone, large, high watt speakers and H2NO water resistant Pigtail.
  • DOT approved. Great for recreational use - not approved for racing.
  • Includes dust skirt
  • Available in Youth Small - Adult 3XL
  • Youth helmet weighs 3lb wired and includes cheek pads to resize helmet from Youth Small to Youth Large as the child grows!

As with all personal safety devices, helmet fit is vitally important and can increase the risk of injury if not properly fit. Carefully measure the head approximately one inch above the eyebrows across a point at the back of the head that gives the largest measurement. Please remember: Helmets will "break in" with use. It is important that the helmet fits as tight as one can comfortably withstand to wear.

Please see the charts below for helmet fitting. If you do not know your hat size, please take a cloth tape measure and measure around the circumference of your head, just above your brow line.

Comfort and style

The PYROTECT SPORTMAX DOT MIDAIR HELMET has it all, safety, comfort, style and price. The midair connection won't have you hitting the roof of your car with the connector and is easy to remove the hose. The pre-wired PCI comm system sounds amazing and the quality is excellent.

Very Comfortable Helmet

The helmet is very well made and fits as advertised. The electronics are top notch and with the fresh air supply on side of helmet, it keeps you cool. Will be my choice if I have to buy another helmet.
